Vieworks, a leading provider of imaging solutions,
is accelerating its expansion into the machine vision inspection market in
Asia, with the newly launched VT Sense series of high-end industrial cameras.
Vieworks today announced that it
participated in Vision China 2024, China's largest machine vision exhibition,
held in Shanghai, China, from August 8-10, and conducted sales and marketing
activities for its full range of industrial imaging solutions.
Vieworks significantly increased its
exhibit lineup from the previous year, showcasing a total of 45 products
including industrial cameras, industrial lenses, industrial X-ray detectors,
integrated inspection solutions, and machine vision accessories. In particular,
this year, Vieworks first unveiled VT Sense, an industrial camera lineup that
identifies defects in the UV(ultraviolet) and NIR(near-infrared) wavelengths,
in addition to the conventional visible light region, attracting the attention.
The VT Sense Series is equipped with a BSI(Back-side
illuminated) sensor, which means that light is transmitted directly to the
photodiode when shooting, bypassing the wiring part. This increases the amount of
light that can be accommodated by the camera, enabling excellent performance in
low-light environments and clear images in the ultraviolet, and near-infrared
wavelengths. It provides optimal inspection solutions for specialized
manufacturing environments such as display, semiconductor and battery surfaces,
and solar panel inspection.
Vieworks' industrial cameras have become
the standard in the field of ultra-precise inspection by dramatically improving
image quality with its own technology, and many of the product lineups
introduced at last year's exhibition were also on display. The VP Series, a
general-purpose product with a cooling structure that minimizes image noise
caused by heat, and the VN Series, which maximizes the clarity of inspection
images with its own Pixel Shifting technology, were introduced. In addition,
the VTDI Series, a lineup of TDI (Time Delayed Integration) line scan cameras
with hybrid sensors developed by Vieworks, is specialized for large-area display,
semiconductor, and industrial film inspection environments.
Meanwhile, Vision China 2024 is China's
largest specialized machine vision exhibition, attracting leading global
machine vision and image processing solution providers. As of 2023, it
attracted nearly 300 exhibitors and 94,000 attendees.
